I was inspired by this idea when I was in DOWN TO EARTH, an organic vegetarian health food store on Maui last month.

You can make it your creation! Grab a mixing bowl and start adding your favs, then roll into balls….

Ingredient Suggestions:
Organic Peanut Butter (I use Teddie’s with Flax)
Slivered Almonds
Flax seed (seeds or ground or both, because we absorb ground flax)
Bulgar flour

Flowers are the new Natural Healers

Last year, I attended a workshop with Gale Barton regarding the power flowers have in your life. I found them to truly hold a special power and by allowing them to share it with you can bring an amazing positive experience into your life. Please read more about Gale below and visit her website to see what is going on with Sweet Ferns.

Enhancing romantic, nostalgic and personal items is the foundation for creating unforgettable weddings and special event experiences. It is important to me that design solutions are created to meet the needs of each unique client within their vision for the event. Flowers are provided by local growers and world wide companies supplying flowers that are good for the Earth, good for workers and good for you. Love my Kombucha!

What is it?
It is a tea or some may refer to it as
elixir. Either way, it’s a miracle,
and it’s been used around the
world for hundreds of years to
help restore balance and vitality.

Most health food stores carry Kombucha. Specifically, Whole Foods and Healthy Appetites in Plymouth.

A Book for Mindfulness

Several of my clients this month have been working on mindful eating. Most times this can take experimenting and practicing new skills to unwind and rebuild habits that have be developed over the years.

Whether your challenging habits to break are during the day or at night, change must be an open door. Picture yourself in the woods taking the same path when there are several others to walk down. In order for this to happen, you may need support and guidance to help develop a plan and provide accountabilty, which is a great thing!

Many people know what to eat, but how to eat in this busy place can be difficult. One client stated, “WOW, I love you right now!” after we developed her plan to break those nightime eating patterns.

This book by Thich Nhat Hahn, author of another one of my favorite books, “Miracle of Mindfulness,” has done it again. This is such a fabulous tool to build that relationship you always wanted with food.
